The wide diversity of maize landraces provide a valuable source of information
about genomic variation and evolution. Palomero Toluqueño, an ancient
Mexican landrace, was sequenced by a group of Mexican scientists working at
CINVESTAV/Langebio. This sequence is available for
searching and download.
